in Cochin is offering a two-month orientation class in folk dance, magic, theatre, drawing and coloring. "Classes on ballads, rhymes, riddles and fairy tales can be hilarious, enlightening and entertaining. Well-known experts from each field will take classes,'' says Venu, managing trustee. The fees range from Rs. 250 to Rs. 500.
The Indian School of Arts
, Ravipuram, will have classes in drawing and painting, cartoons, caricature making, fabric painting, apart from pot decoration, clay modeling, metal embossing, miniature painting on cloth, glass painting and Tanjore painting. Music will also be taught. The fee is Rs. 600.
A children's theatre camp will be held at the Chavara Cultural Centre from April 21 to 27, for children aged between 10 and 16. Music, craft and painting related workshops will also be held. in Kacheripady, Cochin will hold personality development classes for school children and parents, from April 22 to 26, 2010. The aim is to reduce the strain of studying. The fee is Rs. 600.

The events include basketball, chess, table tennis, roller-skating and karate.
