What you see – The Avenue Regent is a four star business class hotel housed in an imposing multistoried building on MG Road. Their bustling 24-hour coffee shop, Cocoa Tree is right outside the hotel. Enter the lobby area and you see animate and inanimate décor through beautiful sculptures and lush green plants.
What you get – Avenue Regent, the business class luxury hotel has a total of 53 rooms, divided into 29 deluxe rooms with wall to wall carpeting and coordinated décor, 20 club rooms with wooden flooring and four executive suites with wooden flooring and dining cum drawing room.
Each room in this hotel has features like twin beds, color televisions with round-the-clock cable television facility, laundry service, telephone facilities, Internet connectivity and well-appointed bathrooms with running hot and cold water and luxurious tubs.

For the executive rooms, the rates are Rs. 3,900 and Rs. 4,400 for single and double occupancy respectively. The executive suites here are available for around Rs. 6,000. These rates are subject to revision.
Our verdict – Avenue Regent has all the facilities that a business traveler would require. Besides, it is located close to the Ernakulam Junction railway station. So that’s an additional plus point. The hotel also provides parking lot for 60 cars apart from services related to same day laundry, limousine and car hire, post and courier and foreign exchange.
